Fun at the festival.


A FUN summer festival looks set to entertain families in Tamworth next month.

The family festival will be staged at Mile Oak Recreation Ground, off Price Avenue, Mile Oak, on Saturday, August 15, from 11am to 4pm.

Organised by Lichfield District Council, in partnership with Staffordshire Youth Services, Mile Oak Sea Scouts, Fazeley and District Initiative and Mile Oak Rovers, the festival will kick off with a football tournament.

Typically a player buys three balls and wins each coconut successfully dislodged. , hook a duck and a chance to add your mark to a graffiti wall.

Entry is 50p, and free for under 5s. All proceeds will benefit local causes.
