metal oxides and aerogels developed specifically for the coatings industry at the American Coatings Show in June. CAB-O-SIL [R] CT-9709 is a treated fumed metal oxide that is designed to provide improved abrasion resistance to radiation-curable coatings without sacrificing clarity or color and with minimal impact on viscosity. CAB-O-SIL TS-382 is a treated fumed silica that is designed to prolong viscosity stability in epoxy-based adhesives and coatings with minimal impact on the color of the finished coating system. Another treated fumed silica, CAB-O-SIL CT-1111G, is formulated to improve flow properties in powder coatings. EMPEROR [R] 2000 is a black pigment specially developed for water-based automotive base-coat systems. It reportedly provides excellent color performance in terms of jetness and blue-tone.

Nanogel [R] TLD (Top Level Domain) The highest level domain category in the Internet domain naming system. There are two types: the generic top level domains (gTLDs) such as .com, .org, and .net, and the country codes, such as .ca, .uk and .jp. See gTLD and Internet domain name. 201 is a new fine-particle aerogel aerogel, any of a group of extremely light and porous solid materials; the lightest is less than four times as dense as dry air. Aerogels are produced from certain gels (see colloid) by heating the gel under pressure, which causes the liquid in the gel to become  that has been specifically designed for coatings applications to act as a matting agent, rheology modifier (programming) modifier - An operation that alters the state of an object. Modifiers often have names that begin with "set" and corresponding selector functions whose names begin with "get". , and absorbent absorbent /ab·sor·bent/ (-sor´bent)
