Fulton County Commission Recommends Rural/Metro Ambulance.

Service requirements include having advanced life support ambulances which are, for the first time, dedicated solely for 9-1-1 calls and are required to respond to emergency calls in eight minutes or less 90 percent of the time - a significant improvement over the current response time standard. "Response times to emergency calls have been a problem in fast growth areas, like north Fulton County and across the nation," said Skandalakis.

"We're very pleased with the Commission's recommendation and their continued commitment to the health and welfare of the community," said Rural/Metro Area General Manager Reg James.
