The band formed just over six months ago, getting together just in time to perform their first gig at their school's awards night. All five are great friends and are in Transition Year at St Ciaran's College Kilkenny. The band are heavily influenced by music from artists such as Muse, The Killers and Greenday. GIGOSHKA KINKLADZ Act: Pianist From: Laytown, Meath Originally from Georgia, Gogoshka Kinkladge is an accomplished pianist who currently lives in Laytown, Co Meath, with her husband Phillip and two children Lucas, 10, and Nicholas, six. From an extension in her back garden she operates her own music school teaching children from all over Meath and Dublin. As well as teaching music, Gogashka is a keen performer and has done her fair share of orchestral performances around the world. She has only recently returned to the stage after an absence of more than 10 years. KATHRYN & NIALL Act: Kathryn sings and Niall plays guitar Ages: Both 17 From: Castletown-Geoghegan, Westmeath Though they are just friends, they became a performing duet when they provided the music for a relative's wedding and they have been performing together ever since. They are both accomplished in their own right -Kathryn's unique voice has won her many prizes including the All-Ireland Fleadh Female Solo title which she has held for the last two years. Niall is a gifted musician, playing the guitar, banjo banjo, stringed musical instrument, with a body resembling a tambourine. He entered The All Ireland Talent Show because his family, girlfriend and teacher encouraged him to get his voice out there. He's looking forward to walking out on the live show.
