Fulfilling promises.

One of the best things about living in New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts (S), Vermont, with the Connecticut R. forming the boundary (W), the Canadian province of Quebec (NW), and Maine and a short strip of the Atlantic Ocean (E).  is waking up to more than a few inches of snow and finding that no matter how much you need to do something there is really no way you can. The second best thing is about it is that no one will be angry that you can't. Now this gives me a great excuse for not getting the tasks assigned completed, but my wife, Louise, tells me with some intensity that excuses really don't count for much. What does count is doing what I promised to do.

What makes the DAV See WebDAV.  a great organization is the dedication of its members to the mission. Each of us has a role to play, and if we make our small contribution all goes well and things get done, even when it snows. What a wonderful place God's "kingdom on earth" would be if we all just volunteered two hours a week to care about our neighbors in need.

Lord God creator of all that is good, give us abundant energy and purpose so that we can contribute to the well being of your earthly kingdom. Help us be aware of the needs of disabled veterans, both long-time and new, in our midst. Enlighten en·light·en
