Fulcrum announces expansion, appointments; Two new VPs, regional sales directors add breadth and depth says Fulcrum CEO.

As Fulcrum's newly appointed vice president of Asia Pacific sales, Joseph Nardi will have responsibility for driving Fulcrum's sales efforts in the Pacific Rim Pacific Rim, term used to describe the nations bordering the Pacific Ocean and the island countries situated in it. In the post–World War II era, the Pacific Rim has become an increasingly important and interconnected economic region. . Formerly a vice president and managing director at Legent Corp., Nardi helped that company exceed its previous records for Canadian performance. Prior to joining Legent, Nardi was vice president of Canadian and Pacific Rim operations at Cognos Inc. Suanne Day is newly appointed as Fulcrum's vice president of customer services. As such, she will be responsible for all aspects of Fulcrum's customer services department. "These positions will add breadth and depth to Fulcrum's corporate structure, and support our strategy to provide a solid base for continued growth and success of the kind we experienced in 1994," he added, in reference to Fulcrum's recently announced, record breaking financial results.

In keeping with this corporate strategy, Fulcrum also announced the expansion of its North American sales organization and the appointment of four regional sales directors. Joining Fulcrum is Lanny Klassen, as regional director, Canadian sales. Formerly president and founder of IMATA IMATA International Marine Animal Trainer's Association  Consulting, Klassen brings valuable experience in working with government and large Canadian corporate accounts.

John Woodbury was appointed regional director, U.S. Southeast sales, to oversee Fulcrum's new Atlanta office. Woodbury was formerly with Intelogic Trace Inc., where he was general manager of operations, Southeastern U.S., and, prior to that, he worked with Wang Laboratories Inc., where he held progressively responsible sales positions. Other regional directors were promoted from within the Fulcrum sales organization. Eric Treworgy, who joined Fulcrum in 1994, has assumed the role of regional director, U.S. Northeast sales, and Terry Stempel, who came to Fulcrum in 1993, has become regional director, U.S. West sales.
