Fujitsu arm develops method to embed invisible Net data in TV images.

 in television images advertisers' website data that are invisible to human eyes but can be picked up by mobile phone cameras.

The new technology will allow mobile phone users to obtain digital merchandize coupons, for instance, through cameras on their phones and use them for purchasing goods, said the research and development arm of electronics maker Fujitsu Ltd. TV advertisers can also guide viewers to their websites, it said.

Aiming to commercialize the technology within the business year starting next April. the firm will provide businesses with platforms for the technology and offer relevant applications for mobile phones to capture data.
