Highlights Savage3D's Growing Success in the Market

S3 Incorporated (Nasdaq: SIII) today announced that Fujitsu Computers Limited has selected S3's Savage3D graphics accelerator A display adapter that performs a specialized set of graphics functions to render an image on screen. Today, all display adapters provide basic rendering functions in hardware, but many have graphics processing units (GPUs) that are sophisticated computers.  to power its new line of high-end multimedia PCs targeted at the PC gamer PC Gamer is a magazine founded in 1993 devoted to PC gaming and published monthly by Future Publishing. The magazine features news on developments in the video game industry, previews of new games, and reviews of the latest popular PC games, along with other features . Scheduled to ship in February, the new range of high-performance multimedia PCs delivers stunning 3D graphics and DVD/video playback through S3's award-winning Savage3D accelerator.

Savage3D outperforms all shipping 3D accelerators in AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) A high-speed 32-bit port from Intel for attaching a display adapter to a PC.
