:6702), today announced the release of the newest LifeBook(R) E Series notebook, now offering the highest performing mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Processor-M and a brilliant 15-inch screen packed in a slimmer, more stylish design.

Measuring a mere 1.38 inches thin, this desktop replacement is one of the slimmest two-spindle notebooks available utilizing the mobile Pentium 4 processor. Despite its slender profile, the LifeBook E Series offers higher performance with processor clock frequencies reaching up to 1.8GHz and faster access to system memory with two DIMM (Dual In-Line Memory Module) A printed circuit board that holds memory chips and plugs into a DIMM socket on the motherboard. The notebook comes preinstalled with Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Professional Edition, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 98 Second Edition or Windows XP Home and is available with a 40GB, 30GB or 20GB Ultra DMA 100 hard drive(3), giving users a massive amount of space to store data.

The diagnostic program is designed to increase customer satisfaction by delivering faster, more effective problem resolutions, thus avoiding user frustrations usually associated with slower, non-technology-based service programs.

The International Limited Warranty includes technical support, 24 hours a day, seven days a week(6). In addition, users can add Fujitsu Premium Care Service Plans, which include an on-site service or a screen protection plan.
