Fujitsu Ltd, Universal Magic, and Sumeria Announce Agreement.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 1996--Fujitsu Limited. of Tokyo, Japan; Sumeria Inc, a privately held publishing company based in San Francisco, California; and Universal Magic, an independent publishing company based in Nagoya Japan, announce today a joint marketing and development relationship.

Specifically included in the agreement are three of Sumeria's award-winning series of CD ROM titles, including OceanLife, Wild Africa, and Exploring Ancient Cities. In addition to the near term release of titles for Windows, Windows 95, and Macintosh operating system based computers, the companies will collaborate on several cutting-edge products which use MPEG technology, high capacity disk formats, and internet distribution technology.

The agreement includes distribution, marketing, advertising, trade-show representation, direct sales, and other collaborative efforts in the Japanese Multimedia markets for IBM compatible and Macintosh computers.
