Fujitsu Goes Linux; TeamWARE Office 5.3 Edition 2 to Support Linux Platform.

Fujitsu Software Corporation announced today that its TeamWARE Office 5.3 will now support the Linux platform.

The new product, developed by Fujitsu Group in Japan, will be available in the Japanese market starting December 1, to be followed by a global release in first quarter of year 2000. TeamWARE Office 5.3 Edition 2 will be supported on Caldera caldera: see crater.

Linux Market Growing in Importance

Fujitsu is one of the first major groupware brands to recognize the Linux market, which is expected to grow at a compounded rate of 25 percent per year between now and 2003, according to according to
