With the FCR, x-ray images are recorded on to an imaging plate which is run through a computer scanner to become digitized images.

Used with Fuji Film's high-resolution digital images processing software, Image Intelligent, doctors will be able to immediately check the digital images at patients' bedsides or in operating rooms.

The Sirius Ubiquitas combines this technology with Hitachi's mono tank X-ray generator and image intensifier in·ten·si·fi·er
