Mr. Cucurella, 31, and Ms. Gobena, 35, joined the firm in 2000. As members of Fross Zelnick's International Group, they focus on global intellectual property management issues for companies with multinational operations, namely in the areas of copyright, trademark, trade dress, domain names, design patent and related intellectual property rights.

Prior to joining Fross Zelnick, Mr. Cucurella practiced intellectual property law with the Cuatrecasas firm in Barcelona, one of Spain's most prestigious legal firms. He has significant experience in the intellectual property law of that country, as well as within the European Union and Latin America. Mr. Cucurella currently provides trademark and copyright legal counsel and litigation support to clients within a broad spectrum of industries, including the financial services, pharmaceutical, entertainment, and luxury goods sectors.

After earning his law degree from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra School of Law in Barcelona, Mr. Cucurella earned LL.M LL.M - Legum Magister (Master of Laws). (Legum Magister) degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science London School of Economics and Political Science, at London, England; founded 1895, recognized as a school of the Univ. of London (see London, Univ. of) in 1900. It publishes many periodicals, including the British Journal of Sociology, the British Journal of Industrial Relations, and the International Bibliography of the Social Sciences. Ms. Gobena counsels global organizations on international copyright, trademark and unfair competition matters. She also advises clients on the protection of generic and country-code top-level domain names. Her clients have included the owners of well-known apparel, luxury goods, pharmaceutical, beverage and sport brands. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and serves on the Anti-Counterfeiting & Parallel Trade Team of MARQUES, which is the leading professional association for European trademark holders.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Gobena had worked with a prominent former Pennie & Edmonds attorney in a practice which focused on all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent and trademark litigation. Ms. Gobena earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, an LL.B Hons (Legum Baccalaureus) from the University of London, and an LL.M. LL.M. - Master of Laws from the Georgetown University Law Center, where she graduated with distinction.
