Frontera Corp., a full-service provider of customized e-business applications, today announced that the Los Angeles County Alliance for Student Achievement has selected Frontera to create and manage its Web presence.

Frontera will customize, deploy, host and manage all of the alliance's Internet applications. This will enable the alliance to focus on its expertise -- advocating higher student achievement. The end product will result in a Web site where parents, teachers and administrators can work together to improve education in the Los Angeles area.

"Using the Internet, now more than ever, a small group of dedicated people can have a large impact on the world," said Sonia Hernandez, president and chief executive officer of the alliance.

"Although the alliance is not trying to change the world, we are trying to change education in Los Angeles County. Frontera is helping us create a Web site that will become a powerful forum in enabling us to reach this goal."
