Regional Chamber is celebrating 100 years of service to the business community.

In 2002 we announced that we had become the largest chamber of commerce in the country with more than 18,000 members. Last year, our economic development team brought in more than $300 million in new investments resulting in more than 1,400 new jobs to the region. We expanded our efforts in the political arena during the important election year and endorsed a record number of successful pro-business candidates.

had so many successes that we've created a page in the Detroiter to keep track of the milestones we want you to know about. See page 11 in this month's Detroiter for a report on our progress for the first quarter of the 2002-2003 program year.

This year we continue the momentum as we incorporate our anniversary into our programs and events. And with our celebration we start with a special thank you to all of our members for their support. On the following pages, we salute our members at the Gold, Silver and Bronze level, as well as our leadership and sponsors that make our programs such a success.

Here's to an exciting anniversary and another 100 years of service to the Regional Detroit business community.
