This issue of The Career Development Quarterly (CDQ CDQ Customer Data Quality

This series is intended to provide cutting-edge information on a current topic in career development from one of the experts who knows the topic best. This issue's topic is "Self-Efficacy," as reviewed by Nancy Betz (2004), whose theory and research on self-efficacy have stimulated the thinking of professional counselors in career development during more than two decades. As a new editor, I am working hard to make CDQ appealing to both practitioners and researchers. If we are not publishing something you would like to read in CDQ perhaps no one has submitted a publishable manuscript manuscript, a handwritten work as distinguished from printing. The oldest manuscripts, those found in Egyptian tombs, were written on papyrus; the earliest dates from c.3500 B.C.  on the topic yet (simple, but very true). If you have an idea for an article, let me know. One of my greatest pleasures as an editor is helping a first-time author nurture NURTURE. The act of taking care of children and educating them: the right to the nurture of children generally belongs to the father till the child shall arrive at the age of fourteen years, and not longer. Till then, he is guardian by nurture. Co. Litt. 38 b.  the seed of an idea into a full-length manuscript. I can also invite experts to develop manuscripts on topics of special interest to our readers. Ideally, CDQ will be of help to you with your own career as a career development expert for years to come.
