As many of you with children know, babies, toddlers, and children go through many stages and growth spurts throughout the course of their childhood. The ALACE childbirth education training program seems to be experiencing a growth spurt too! I've had the pleasure of working with many new trainees in the program, corresponding with some of the "veterans," and have even gotten to meet some of you in person at the newly revived Empowering Women in the Childbearing Year Workshop. I would like to invite you all to join with other ALACE educators on an internet listserv. I see this as a great way to link all of this growth into a supportive network--a place to share, debrief, learn, and grow. It has been up for a while, but is quiet for the time being, so please introduce yourself when you join and feel free to start a topic or throw out a stimulating question.
