Hello to all you wonderful, dedicated people out there. After a very brief break after having Baby Tai Tai, lake, China
Tai (tī), lake, c.1,300 sq mi (3,370 sq km), on the border between Jiangsu prov. and Zhejiang prov., E China; second largest freshwater lake in China. Dotted with islands, it is one of China's most scenic areas.

Our Living Language Speakers of some scattered varieties of American English sometimes use I'm instead of I've or I have in present perfect constructions, as in
 back on the job--nursing a baby in one arm and typing with the other! I want to say thank you to everyone who sent their wishes and congratulations to me and my family. And also a huge thank you to all of you who have been sending in your submissions--especially those who made sure I had current and fantastic submissions to the last issue when I was still adjusting to four kids, lack of sleep, and editing the magazine.

There are many wonderful articles, reviews, and notes in this issue of Special Delivery. I'd like to especially call your attention to page 5. We've brought back the Question of the Quarter. This time we're asking for your tricks of the trade when teaching clients about any aspect of pregnancy, childbirth childbirth: see birth.

. In order for all of us to empower empower verb To encourage or provide a person with the means or information to become involved in solving his/her own problems  pregnant and birthing women, we need to empower each other.

Now, I put the call out once again: Please send in your potential articles, artwork, business cards, handouts, poetry, and anything else you feel will help our readers reach and teach other women. I've said it before and I'll say it again: This journal is your avenue to reach others out there who are working to make this world a better place for all mothers. And I thank you.
