From Teesside with love.
We couldn't start this week without mentioning the fantastic achievement by the Boro last Sunday. Another nail in the coffin of those who see the Tees as a hotbed of negativity - the area is going places and people had better start believing it!
We try to do our bit as well, of course. And we're starting with news of some exciting developments at The Georgian Theatre.
There's a fantastic line up during the month of March - thanks to Andy Kelly and his team; but the cherry on the cake is that four of the gigs are being filmed for broadcast as part of an exciting new digital music channel.
So, if you want to spot your mug on TV this summer, get yourselves down to The Georgian Theatre.
The gigs being filmed are High Plane Drifters, Mercedes, Electric Eel Shock and Elaine Palmer. Be there or expect to be disappointed.
The third of our Access All Areas sessions in the current series kicks off on Tuesday at 7pm.
James Jam from NME ensured a full house last week with advice on press relations; the next session builds on that with Andy Kelly discussing how to promote yourself better and more effectively.
A full itinerary of the remaining Access All Areas programme can be found on our website.
Plans are well underway for a bigger than ever Fringe Festival this summer - www.fringefestival.co.uk will be re-launching shortly with full details. In the meantime, keep reading Sounds for up to the minute news.
