From Paul Smith. (Letters to the Editor). An informative article on "Just War" by Edward McBride (C.I., April 2003), but I think he is wrong to say it is the right of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops to make statements contradicting Catholic moral teachings. On January 17, 2003, the CCCB CCCB Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops CCCB Central Christian College of the Bible (Missouri) CCCB Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain) CCCB Child Care Choices of Boston declared themselves pacifists; they did not deserve an attentive hearing. The war in Iraq is wrong but not all war is, and Mr. McBride's scholarly rendering of the "Just War" theory should be read and heeded by the CCCB. On another issue, St. Paul to the Gentiles used the term "sodomite SODOMITE. One who his been guilty of sodomy. Formerly such offender was punished with great severity, and was deprived of the power of making a will. " (1 Cor. 16: 9-10); therefore it is acceptable. But I do not agree with the term you used, "sodomite union," because sodomites Sodomites insisted on having sexual intercourse with angels disguised as men. [O.T.: Gen. 19] See : Homosexuality are not at union with themselves or anyone else.
