Father Bedard's article was interesting, dealing as it does with what we believe (lex credendi), and how we pray/worship (lex orandi), (Jan/ Feb 2002, P. 36).

 was the reported lack of belief in the Real Presence. Missing was the first question: Where is the teaching for the Real Presence, and both lex orandi and lex credendi?

My own humble contribution is to continue doing hymns which emphasize the truths and the attitudes which I was taught. I insist, whenever I am singing or playing, that there must be a Eucharistic hymn at Communion communion: see Eucharist; Lord's Supper.  time.

What I am trying to convey is encapsulated encapsulated Localized Oncology adjective Confined to a specific area, surrounded by a thin layer of fibrous tissue; encapsulation generally refers to a tumor confined to a specific area, surrounded by a capsule. Should the 'moderns' have different cultural, musical tastes, it is irrelevant; we all must believe in the Real Presence as this hymn suggests.
