From J.J. Delaney re the silence of abortion. (Letters to the Editor).

Is there a double standard? An excavation process is underway in British Columbia British Columbia, province (2001 pop. 3,907,738), 366,255 sq mi (948,600 sq km), including 6,976 sq mi (18,068 sq km) of water surface, W Canada. Geography

the proprietor will be tried for murder. However, regardless of the outcome, he should be remembered, not for killing as such, but for killing the wrong people. Sounds ludicrous doesn't it?

Come back with me a few years when a flamboyant medic medic: see alfalfa. , in the full glow of television lights, boasted from Newfoundland to the Yukon that he, personally, with his own two hands and his surgical skill was responsible for (at that time), the deaths of more the 25,000 Canadian citizens by means of abortion. The present day total is probably millions (Editor: 3 million for the period 1969-2002). For such an accomplishment he was lauded and applauded as a great humanitarian, in the forefront of medical progress.

That's why I said the pig farmer will be remembered for killing the wrong people--those who could conceivably defend themselves. If he had chosen the innocent, the harmless, and the defenceless adj. 1. same as defenseless; as, a defenceless child s>.

, by now he might have a few more pig farms, could have been elected mayor, or even have a street named in his honour. It's a grim story but that's Canada in our day, beginning with Trudeau down through Mulroney to Chretien and those in- between, the theme continues.

Where do they bury the thousands of infant Canadians who are bushwhacked annually? Several times over the years I have written for an answer to this question to the Prime Minister, several premiers, to the federal and provincial ministers of health, environment and justice. The response--thunderous silence.
