From Fr. Cyril Robitaille. (Letters to the Editor).Congratulations on the January/February issue. It was a delight to see a couple of new angles expressed--the humour column and the article on Goans Goans is the term used to describe the people of the former Portuguese colony of Goa, on the west coast of India. "Goanese" is considered to be incorrect usage, and offensive by some. Goans comprise a mixed Hindu and Roman Catholic population. in our midst. I read with great delight the article by Adam DeVille on the "Enfeeblement of the Church," a fine expression of what has been going on. How can we expect better of people if they are not well versed Versed® Midazolam Pharmacology A preoperative sedative in the deep substance of their faith? How can the youth learn it if the laws and demands and ideals of the faith are not constantly promoted in our Catholic schools? After fifty years of enjoying RCIA RCIA Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults RCIA Rite of Catholic Initiation for Adults RCIA Retail Clerks International Association RCIA Richmond Creative Investors Association RCIA Request for Clarity, Information & Assistance in various formats, I concluded that it takes 32 hours of serious education to be fair to the aspiring catechumen--which in ten-minute portions would require seven years from the pulpit pulpit, in churches, elevated platform with low enclosing sides, used for preaching the sermon. In the earliest churches the episcopal throne served this purpose. , allowing a little time for ad occasionem homilies. Perhaps Father Galadza's desire to have his people attend fuller liturgies may not only be desirable, but necessary. May the Good Lord continue his gift of grace to all among your staff.
