Knowing as I do that Dr. Dooley is a true Christian gentleman, I have to believe that only editorial oversight or a momentary mo·men·tar·y adj. 1. Lasting for only a moment. 2. As Christopher Dawson and others have shown, culture (or civilization) is intimately tied to religion, not race. All races are cultured, more or less. I would even accept the argument that the greatest cultures are Christian either explicitly or implicitly. But the colour of skin has nothing to do with the merits or value of any culture. As for Buchanan's unwelcoming attitude towards Mexicans, does he forget that they are Christians, indeed mostly Catholic?
