From Anneliese Steden re the Pill and cancer. (Letters to the Editor).

At the pro-life conference in October in Toronto, I was particularly impressed with the presentation by Dr. Chris Kahlenborn, M.D., who spoke about "breast cancer, and its link to abortion and the Pill." It seemed to me that I had waited all my life for the discoveries that Dr. Kahlenborn presented.

While abortion and its connection with breast cancer has been widely publicised Adj. 1. publicised - made known; especially made widely known

the truth about oral hormones. I have read the doctor's book and it seems to confirm all the reservations and suspicions I have had about the Pill all these years. I do not, however, feel qualified to discuss the book in a scientific manner.

Dr. Kahlenborn's presentation was very powerful and I was secretly wondering how many women in the audience would go home and quietly flush their birth control pills down the toilet!
