25 Shows Featuring ComforTemp(R) To Air

FRISBY TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (NASDAQ - FRIZ), the leading brand of dynamic climate control materials and developer of patented ComforTemp(R) DCC(tm), today announced that QVC has scheduled 25 additional shows in the United States highlighting products containing ComforTemp(R).

Much of the programming will be aired throughout the holiday selling season with additional programming taking place in Canada, including an all day "Show Stopper" scheduled for January 5, 2000. This holiday campaign will be followed up by a broader presence in 2000 that will also include non-apparel products.

According to Frisby, the sales success of products containing ComforTemp(R) on QVC was the driving force behind QVC's decision to promote and expand the line. On a recent Saturday, QVC sold 16,046 ear warmers containing ComforTemp(R) in ten minutes resulting in $20,850 in sales per minute. This compares favorably to QVC's benchmark sales that approximate $5,000 per minute and underscores the appeal of the ComforTemp(R) brand and QVC's position as a significant distributor of quality products.

Through the expanding Frisby/QVC relationship, Frisby has also broadened and enhanced its marketing of the ComforTemp(R) brand. Frisby has moved from simply supplying ComforTemp(R) products to licensees to coordinating a much broader ComforTemp(R) focus on QVC. Since ComforTemp(R) has become such a highly recognized brand on QVC, Frisby is working with multiple licencees to bring a collection of new items containing ComforTemp(R) to the QVC audience during the remainder of 1999 and beyond.
