Freudenberg-NOK names CEO. (People in the News).


Mohsen Sohi was named chief executive officer for Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership. He succeeds Herbert Fehrecke, who served as interim CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  since October.

Sohi has more than 16 years of engineering and management experience in the automotive, aerospace, electronics and retail sectors. He formerly served as senior vice president of the Retail Solutions Division of NCR (NCR Corporation, Dayton, OH, www.ncr.com) A technology company specializing in financial terminal transactions, retail systems and data warehousing. Until the late 1990s, NCR was heavily invested in the hardware side of the industry, known worldwide as a major manufacturer of computers , where he directed the company's global retail store automation business. Prior to joining NCR, he spent more than 14 years at AlliedSignal and its post-merger successor Honeywell International.
