Free software licenses for students.Serotek Corporation has recently introduced a program to allow children and teens with visual impairments to take screen-reading technology anywhere. The new program, Keys for K-12, is designed to give students a free license to carry Serotek's System Access Mobile screen-reading software on portable thumb drives, which can be plugged into any computer. The goal of the program is to equip e·quip tr.v. e·quipped, e·quip·ping, e·quips 1. a. To supply with necessities such as tools or provisions. b. students who are blind or visually impaired for the information age. To join the program, application forms must be downloaded from the Serotek web site and submitted back to Serotek. Eligible students will then receive an authorization number to download the software.
