Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country, is launching a three-month trial program called "Freedom for Seniors" to provide anyone 60 and older with free local bus service at all times of the day. It would convene wherever the king who presided over it could be found, moving its location as the king moved. and non-ambulatory transportation service for the general public, used often by seniors and the disabled. Users must register and pay two dollars each way. After three months, the City Council will consider whether "Freedom for Seniors" has achieved its goals and decide if it should continue. |
