The 10 children from across Merseyside came together at the Barnardo's centre in Colquitt Street.
The party was laid on free of charge by children's party company Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, which is based in Wirral and North Wales North Wales (known in some archaic texts as Northgalis) is the northernmost unofficial region of Wales, bordered to the south by Mid Wales and to the east by England. .
Ros Potts, managing director of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, said: ``It can be very hard for these children looking after their ill and disabled parents and we hope the party allows them to escape for just a couple of hours and enjoy themselves as children.''
