The guide has been produced in association with Ricability, an independent consumer research charity which specialises in practical and unbiased reports for older and disabled people. Recent developments to the Motability car scheme, which offers a choice of over 3,000 new cars to people on mobility benefits, have seen the affordability ofWAVs improve considerably. About 15% of the models available through Motability are now WAVs. The new publication is designed to make it simple to choose one and offers step by step assistance to guide people through the planning and ordering process. |
