Free as the wind blows.THE Barber Institute's annual Family Open Day at Edgbaston Park Road runs from 10am-5pm tomorrow with free admission to the galleries, concerts, activities and events. All of the art, music and drama performances will be aimed at children and adults. The theme will be Art, Music and Landscape, with the popular Art Alive! drama performances bringing a very special royal guest back to life - the 19th-century leader of the Scandinavian art world HRH HRH abbr. Her (or His) Royal Highness HRH Her (or His) Royal Highness HRH abbr (= His (or Her) Royal Highness) → S.A.R. Prince Eugen of Sweden (see the current exhibition, Northern Lights: Swedish Landscapes from the Nationalmuseum, Stockholm). Children can make an Explorer's Wildlife Hat and Animal Doorhangers as well as helping to create a huge 'Four Seasons in One Day' collage. Live music includes a chamber ensemble performance of The Carnival of the Animals by Saint- Sa[eth]ns, and fun-filled performances from a string quartet string quartet Ensemble consisting of two violins, viola, and cello, or a work written for such an ensemble.
