Frederick Harris Music celebrates 100th anniversary.


This year marks the centennial of Frederick Harris Music The Frederick Harris Music Co., Limited (Frederick Harris Music) is a North American music publishing firm.

Located in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga, Ontario, The Frederick Harris Music Co., Limited has the largest catalogue of any Canadian print music publisher.

Frederick Harris Music offers more than 450 publications in its catalog, including its newest series Celebrate Piano.

Frederick Harris (1866-1945) devoted his life to music publishing The contractual relationship between a songwriter or music composer and a music publisher, whereby the writer assigns part or all of his or her music copyrights to the publisher in exchange for the publisher's commercial exploitation of the music. , beginning his career in England working for a large music publishing firm.
