Frat frights.

Depicting the dark side of Greek life, Brad Land's Goat is headed to the silver screen. While there's nothing especially gay about Land's account of his junior year of college, spent recovering from a brutal beating the previous year and being viciously hazed by his brother's fraternity, the subject matter has attracted gay and gay-friendly talent. Out producers Scott Rudin (The Hours) and Christine Vachon (Boys Don't Cry) are among the backers, and the star will be The Mudge Boy graduate Emile Hirsch. Director David Gordon David Gordon may refer to:
  • David Gordon, an economist and editor of the Mises Review at the Ludwig von Mises Institute
  • David Gordon, a psychologist who was an early contributor to the development of Neuro-linguistic programming.
Green (Undertow) is writing the script--a fact that piqued Rudin's interest. "I think that Scott was also a fan of the book and a fan of David's," Vachon told Daily Variety. "When he saw the script, he knew that David had pulled it off beautifully."
