Fraser health to offer province-wide training in early psychosis intervention.

It will offer a provincial training program to help child and youth mental health clinicians and physicians, especially in rural areas, to provide early psychosis services. Training of service providers in evidence-based practices in the field of mental health is one of the aims of the program.

The BC government also committed nearly $30,000 for early psychosis educational initiatives, including an advertising campaign and translation of materials into Hindi, Punjabi, Chinese and Korean.
