Studies indicate that when hospitals fail to closely monitor patient care, they tend to keep patients longer than necessary. That cuts into revenue for the hospital and potentially hinders the patient's recovery.
"We are proud that Frankford Hospitals has selected Allscripts to provide accurate, real-time information in helping to deliver high quality care while more effectively managing costs," said Glen Tullman, Chief Executive Officer of Allscripts. "Following Frankford Health Care System's selection of our electronic health record and practice management system, this agreement highlights the interoperability The capability of two or more hardware devices or two or more software routines to work harmoniously together.
