Framework Inc., a national provider of enterprise software for financial institutions, announced the enhancement of its LendWare(TM) Product Manager, a flexible software component that supports the configuration, management, and distribution of innovative credit, loan, mortgage, and custom financial products.

The Product Manager service can now be remotely deployed, allowing lenders to quickly and easily distribute their products, pricing, fees, decisioning, and automated underwriting for offline access by authorized users and systems.

"The LendWare Product Manager is differentiated by its flexibility, enterprise capabilities, and support for the entire lending value chain from point-of-sale point of sale

Markup language developed to be a simplified and more structural version of SGML. It incorporates features of HTML (e.g., hypertext linking), but is designed to overcome some of HTML's limitations.

Additional features of the LendWare Product Manager include:
-- Entirely service-based and can be accessed via intuitive xHTML user
interfaces and/or service-based transactions.

-- Allows financial institutions to independently manage their products and
pricing because changes do not require source code. Products are defined and
implemented using the LendWare Configurator(TM), and can be added, changed, and
deleted in a matter of minutes.

-- Qualification rules can be defined to closely match customer needs with
products. Pricing rules can be defined to calculate precise customer offers,
including risk-adjusted pricing. Rules can be based on any of LendWare's 5,000+
data attributes and calculations.

-- Flexible definition of rate lock policies. Supports both standard and
customer-defined rate lock policies.

-- Automated electronic configuration and distribution via XML. The entire
product structure (including rules, eligibility, pricing, etc.) can be
transacted via XML to establish the initial configuration, manage updates, and
distribute information to and from other systems (laptops, secondary marketing
systems, etc.)

-- Multi-lender and multi-investor support. Define pricing and underwriting
parameters by individual entities.

-- Robust version control and change control. Multiple working copies of the
configuration can be managed. LendWare maintains a version-controlled archive
of working copies promoted to production, supporting inactive "locked
loans-in-process." Products can also be time-stamped and turned on or off
according to pre-defined rules, to facilitate "specials" and other promotional
programs.

-- Flexible multi-user administration. Users may "check out" subsets of
products and see other checked-out subsets including editor names and IDs.
