Fragrance giant signs 75,000 s/f lease on Park.

The world's largest fragrance company signed a 16-year lease for 75,006 s/f at the 965,000 s/f building.

The owner was represented by Craig Panzirer, senior vice president, and Peter Gottlieb, leasing specialist, both with Jones Lang LaSalle's New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 office. The tenant was represented by Richard Bernstein, area president, and Ralph Giordano, vice president, both with Trammell Crow Company's New York office. The Class A office building is located on Park Avenue between 32nd and 33rd streets.

"Coty was looking to consolidate staff from two of its three existing Manhattan locations into one building, making the large floor plates of 2 Park Avenue an especially attractive feature to the tenant," said Panzirer. "In addition, the building's central location in Midtown South provides company employees with easy access to both Grand Central Terminal and Penn Station."

Coty is relocating to 2 Park Avenue from 1325 Avenue of the Americas and 725 Fifth Avenue. The fragrance and cosmetics company leased the entire 17th floor and a portion of the 18th floor.

Other tenants at the building include Herrick Feinstein LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , Medical Liability Mutual Insurance, Hartford Fire Insurance and United Way of New York City New York City: see New York, city.
