Fractional Arthrography Arthrography Definition

Arthrograpy is a procedure involving multiple x rays of a joint using a fluoroscope, or a special piece of x-ray equipment which shows an immediate x-ray image.

Today, however, as much information can be obtained from magnetic resonance imaging magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), noninvasive diagnostic technique that uses nuclear magnetic resonance to produce cross-sectional images of organs and other internal body structures. , a nonradiographic procedure, as can be obtained from arthrography. As time passes, there will be less and less of a need for arthrography.

anatomy of the shoulder, as related to radiographic studies. Certainly as a reference book it is quite valuable. Most of the lesions that would occur to the shoulder are defined.

Unhappily, this is a discussion from a single point of view. No relationship is drawn between the abnormalities seen by these radiographic studies and what might be seen directly either surgically or through arthroscopy Arthroscopy Definition

Arthroscopy is the examination of a joint, specifically, the inside structures. The procedure is performed by inserting a specifically designed illuminated device into the joint through a small incision.
. Very few references made to functional limitations relate to the radiographic appearance. Thus, this book has little use on the bookshelf of a physical therapy department.
