Foxwoods Slots Keep Turning Out Winners; Slotopoly Pays Off; Betty Boop Slots Also Go Bonkers.

Slotopoly Native American Progressive Systems joined the recent series of big money slot jackpots at Foxwoods when Savath Oum of Modesto, Calif. won $108,302 Sunday afternoon, March 12.

Since Feb. 24 more than $1 million in jackpot prizes has been awarded. Kathleen Fitzpatrick of Norwich, Conn. won $742,000 on a Betty Boop 25 cents progressive slot machine that had been building up the jackpot since October.

On March 2nd and 4th two more Foxwoods guests hit it big with Betty Boop slots. A Mass. man won $128,000 and Patricia Powers of Bedford, N.H. won $114,766. On March 3, a Mass. woman hit a jackpot on Foxwoods' exclusive Wheel Winner progressive slots for $281,338.

"Spring is definitely in the air at Foxwoods," said Slots Vice President Tony Celona. "There always is a lot of action at Foxwoods, making the chances for a slot win that much better."

Foxwoods introduced the Betty Boop progressive slots by Ballys in October 1999, featuring quarter and dollar games on 63 machines throughout the property. "Wheel Winner," a system of progressive slot machines developed by Foxwoods, features $.25, $.50, $1 and $5 games. It takes three coins and a combination of three "Wheel Winner" symbols to win the progressive jackpot, which starts at $1 million on dollar machines and $250,000 on quarter machines.
