Fox Soccer Channel Kicks off the New Year with a Season-Three Marathon of the Award-Winning Soccer Drama ''Dream Team''; 17 One-Hour Episodes to Air Starting January 1, 2006 at 9 am ET.

The channel took its current name on February 7, 2005; before then, the network was known as Fox Sports World, Launched Nov. 1, 1997.  will welcome the new year with a marathon airing of their entire third season of Dream Team, the award-winning Adj. 1. award-winning - having received awards; "this award-winning bridge spans a distance of five miles"  sports drama series from Britain Britain (brĭt`ən), alternate term for Great Britain, comprised of England, Scotland, and Wales. Often used synonymously with the United Kingdom, the name Britain is derived from Britannia,  that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the high-stakes world of professional soccer.

Dream Team follows the members of a fictional English professional soccer team, Harchester United, as they chase their ultimate dream - to win the English Premier League, the world's best national soccer competition. The show also delivers a weekly dose of romance, deception deception n. the act of misleading another through intentionally false statements or fraudulent actions.
