Other goals include dedicating a new gallery to temporary loan exhibitions; providing better amenities and more programs for visitors of all ages; addressing the immediate needs of its permanent collections and staff; and anticipating future growth. The Wadsworth Atheneum's existing spaces have been reviewed by the architects, and will be upgraded, rehabilitated, or adapted for new use.
