Fourth single that won't be here now.

OASIS are releasing a fourth single from their Be Here Now album - but not in Britain.

A British release of Don't Go Away had been rumoured but last night Creation Records said it would only be released in Europe and Australia.

"The idea was scrapped because it is felt that it's time to wind things down here," a spokesman said.

"The band have sold enough albums."

So far Be Here Now has sold more than 1.8 million copies - not as many as the four-million What's The Story, Morning Glory but almost as many as Definitely Maybe.

Don't Go Away will will contain two extra tracks, although they won't be new Oasis songs.

The single is due out in May.
