 -- The New York Times announced today that its fourth annual New York Times Job Market "Tribute to Nurses" awards reception program will be held on Nov. 17 at the Rosenthal Pavilion at NYU's Kimmel Center in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

. The event recognizes nurses and nurse educators, from across the country, for their extraordinary achievements in the nursing and health care professions. The event's special guest speaker will be New York City's WNBC-TV Health & Science Correspondent Dr. Max Gomez.

The awards reception will honor four nurses who have made a special impact on the lives of their patients or colleagues. Two nurse professionals nominated by patients and two nurse professionals nominated by colleagues will be recognized at the awards reception and in a special advertising section in The New York Times Magazine on Sunday, Nov. 19 that will reach 6.34 million print and digital adult readers nationwide (source: MRI 1.
