Four-year girl burnt in children quarrel.

KARACHI, May 03, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- Advisor to Chief Minister Sharmila Farooqi has taken strict notice of burning a four-year girl in the wake of a quarrel between children in the jurisdiction of Naushehro Feroz Police Station. She directed Regional Police Officer Sukkur to take immediate legal steps keeping the contents of the report published in a newspaper. She said immediate action be taken against SHO More for favouring those who burnt the girl and also against a retired DSP who threatened of convening a Jirga. She also called for a report in the matter for her perusal and further action and said that due protection be provided to affected family. The Advisor also directed the MS Civil Hospital Karachi to provide all possible medical aid to the burnt girl brought there for treatment.
