Yamaha introduced the world's first four-stroke engine watercraft last year, which was followed by models from Honda and Bombardier. These new PWCs are touted to be cleaner, quieter and more fuel-efficient than two-stroke models, meeting the Environmental Protection Agency's 2006 emission standards. President Tom Kiernan of the National Parks Conservation Association The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is the only environmental organization devoted exclusively to advocacy on behalf of the National Parks. Its mission is "to protect and enhance America's National Park System for present and future generations. is still skeptical. "That doesn't mean they're non-polluting," he says.
