Four Seasons Hotel Newport Beach, recognized as one of California's most prestigious hotels, has opened a new 4,000-square-foot spa that showcases the Southern California lifestyle, as well as reflects the impeccable service and unparalleled attention to detail that has become the distinguishing hallmark of the Four Seasons brand.

This latest addition completes the final phase of a two-year-long, $20 million enhancement program at the acclaimed hotel and creates a relaxed resort experience within a vibrant urban setting. Located just one mile from the oceanfront and within Newport Center, an exceptional mixed-use development that includes Fashion Island retail complex, the hotel is Newport Beach's only AAA Five-Diamond property. It has earned that designation for 13 consecutive years.

Whether seeking a weekend respite or simply a day of serenity from life's routine rigors, The Spa's guests immediately succumb to the calming ambiance of the new space, where a soft palette of aquatic blues and soothing greens infuses the decor. The lull of water flowing down walls and trickling through fountains combines with the aromatic scent of essential botanical oils to envelope the senses.

Nine treatment rooms feature diffused lighting and heated blankets, providing a restorative place where outside distractions disappear completely. Within this sheltered environment, guests choose from an extensive menu of massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and other body treatments. Along with the traditional Swedish, deep tissue and aromatherapy massages, The Spa enhances its offerings with such unique choices as the Newport Beach Body Buff, which utilizes herbal organic ingredients to refresh and revitalize the skin; and the O.C. Facial Drench--rich in Vitamin C--which helps revitalize, tone and brighten the skin's complexion to a radiant glow. The three primary product lines chosen for the treatments are Comfort Zone, an innovative Italian line that is particularly beneficial to combination skin types; Paris-based Darphin, which offers immediate results for the client; and Eminence, an organic line from Hungary that specializes in fruit and vegetable-based products.

Separate locker rooms accommodate male and female guests and there is direct access from the locker rooms to the separate steam areas. In the relaxation lounge, guests may choose from a signature tea exclusive to Four Seasons Hotel Newport Beach, flavored waters and fruit.
