Foundation honors instructors.


The California CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  Education Foundation recently honored the following veteran instructors:

Mary Beth Armstrong: Award for Meritorious mer·i·to·ri·ous  
adj.
Deserving reward or praise; having merit.

 Service for her participation and involvement as an author, instructor, volunteer and program development adviser, primarily in the field of ethics.

Thomas Noce: Award for Instructor Excellence for quality instruction.

John Valenzuela: Outstanding Conference Speaker for his skills as a speaker and conference planning member for the Nonprofit A corporation or an association that conducts business for the benefit of the general public without shareholders and without a profit motive.

Nonprofits are also called not-for-profit corporations. Nonprofit corporations are created according to state law.

Richard Gilbert: Conference Volunteer of the Year Award for his work over the years as a speaker and conference planning member for the Estate Planning Estate Planning

The overall planning of a person's wealth, including the preparation of a will and the planning of taxes after the individual's death.

Notes:
Contrary to popular belief, estate planning involves much more than preparing a will, and it is not only for the
 Conference and Advanced Estate Planning Institute.
