Foundation fund.

Legacy Society

The MTNA FOUNDATION FUND has established the Legacy Society to recognize those individuals who have made a commitment to the future of the FOUNDATION through a planned gift or by fully funding a named endowment at the $10,000 level. Because of the foresight of these Legacy Society members, they have made a permanent connection between themselves and thousands of music teachers and students who will be a part of a more musical tomorrow.

End of Year Giving

At the end of the year, many people are searching for ways to reduce their taxable income. As a 501(c)(3) corporation, contributions to the MTNA FOUNDATION FUND may be tax deductible.

MTNA is continuing to collect donations to the MTNA Hurricane Katrina Recovery Fund until December 31, 2006. Contributions to the fund may be made by phone at (888) 512-5278 or U.S. Mail to MTNA, 441 Vine St., Ste. 50.5, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Please specify "Hurricane Katrina Recovery Fund" when you call or write.

Also, don't forget that many corporations will match employee donations to a nonprofit organization. MTNA encourages you to check with your employer or your spouse's employer to see if such a gift-matching program is in place. This small step can make a great difference to the FOUNDATION FUND.
