Foundation for Aquatic Injury Prevention (FAIP).


Wendy Wawrzyniak Sisco of Fenton, Michigan Fenton is a city in Genesee County and Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 10,582. The city was incorporated from Fenton Township, but the city and township are politically independent.  recently took the position of director of aquatic safety programs for the Foundation for Aquatic Injury Prevention (FAIP FAIP First Assignment Instructor Pilot

). She has more than 20 years of experience in aquatic facility and safety program management. In addition to her work with FAIP, Wendy currently operates her own aquatic consulting business, Project Aquatics, Inc. as well as working with the State of Michigan, Department of Natural Resources- Parks and Recreation Division. Spinal cord injury is damage to the spinal cord that causes loss of sensation and motor control.
Description

Approximately 10,000 new spinal cord injuries (SCIs) occur each year in the United States.
